Earlier this year, the Walmart Marketplace team hosted Let’s Grow! 2024 Walmart Marketplace Seller Summit.

During a panel hosted by Diana Finster, Head of Agency and Tech Partnerships at Walmart Connect, we heard from Blackstone Products and Lavazza, two Walmart Marketplace sellers, about their experience collaborating with Tech Partners from the Walmart Connect Partner Network. They shared how this collaboration had a significant impact on their business and helped them meaningfully connect with customers.

How Blackstone Products improved their new-to-brand buyer conversion

Opportunity: Five years ago, Blackstone Products was a small team looking to make a big impact on the Walmart platform. By tapping into Walmart Connect’s robust partner network, they identified the right partner for their needs and were able to rapidly scale their business. 

Outcomes: After working closely with Teikametrics, a Walmart Connect Tech Partner, Blackstone greatly improved their key success metrics: New-to-brand buyer conversion and orders. 

Teikametrics helped Blackstone Products unlock the value of Sponsored Videos for helping customers discover new brands, with a higher percentage rate of new-to-brand sales than any other ad format.  

More importantly, the partnership allowed Blackstone to focus on taking a high-level, strategic approach instead of daily tactical executions. This freed up their internal team to prioritize driving innovation and strategic projects. 

How Lavazza quadrupled their return on ad spend

Opportunity: Though Lavazza has been advertising on Walmart Connect since 2020, they began working with our Tech Partner, Intentwise, in 2023. Through this partnership, Lavazza received hands-on support from Intentwise — who adopted a proactive and agile approach to help drive growth.

Outcomes: Advertising on Walmart Connect allowed Lavazza to reach new and unique customers, who couldn’t be reached through other platforms. With Intentwise’s help, 70% of customers coming to Lavazza from Walmart Connect campaigns are new-to-brand. Their ROAS has quadrupled too.

In addition, Intentwise’s platform consolidates all of Lavazza’s campaigns in one place. This streamlines their investment across marketplaces and prevents duplication of costs.
